MISSION
The mission of the Lake Amanda Water Control and Improvement District No.1 ("LAWCID") is to repair, rebuild, and maintain the Lake Amanda dam. The District will allocate the costs of such maintenance and repairs among the District's property owners in a fair and equitable manner. The District will restore and improve the water quality of the waters in the lower Neches River and will endeavor to continually improve the water quality of Lake Amanda going forward.The District will maintain and care for the Lake Amanda dam and its boundary in an environmentally friendly manner and conduct its business with openness, honesty and integrity.
